Messy Bessy Cleaners, Inc. (www.messybessy.com) was established as the first enterprise of Project H.OU.S.E. (Helping OUrselves through Sustainable Enterprises). Messy Bessy is a manufacturer and wholesaler of natural, biodegradable household cleaners with the primary goal of employing, training and educating disadvantaged (formerly abused, trafficked, out-of-school, impoverished) young adults. It is a fusion of addressing a need for a greener lifestyle and a cleaner environment and helping these young adults out of their victim complex and leading them into a life that they choose to live.

The logo is an old painting by Krie Reyes-Lopez, Messy Bessy’s founder. The painting depicts a woman from a simpler, less industrialized era – when household cleaners were still made from the kitchen, and not made of chemicals. The name “Messy Bessy” came about in trying to name the woman in the painting.

While Messy Bessy is strict on using only natural ingredients, we are also just as stringent on cleaning effectively. We work closely with experts to ensure that all our products remove the dirt, and kill bad bacteria without, of course, leaving any toxic fumes and chemical residues.

What many don’t realize is that when we use cleaners, we release substances out in the air, into our bodies, and down the drains and into our streams. Using regular cleaners that are known to have toxic chemicals can thus be harmful to our bodies, and our planet. This is why we encourage our customers to choose Messy Bessy, because by doing so, we choose safer homes, and a cleaner planet.

Because Messy Bessy ingredients are derived from nature, the products also biodegrades back into nature – whether it be through the air, or through our drains and water.

“All-natural” only means we use ingredients that are derived from nature. Some of our ingredients even include kitchen essentials, like baking soda and vinegar!

The anti-roach spray’s active ingredient is Patchouli essential oil, an extract from Patchouli flowers that are native to Malaysia and India. The essential oil, mixed with alcohol derived from sugar cane, makes for a potent solution to rid your homes of pests.

Essential oils are ideal cleaning supplies. They remove toxic mold, stale air, unpleasant odors, and kill viruses, bacteria and dust mites.

The Odor Absorber can last up to 3 months.

The Messy Baby Gentle Soap Flakes or Handy Nanny are safe and effective for cleaning babies’ toys.

You may use the Jasmine Carpet Cleaner for your sofa. Simply spray the product before scrubbing or vacuuming. It’s best to test on a small area first, especially for delicate fabrics.

The Eucalyptus All-Purpose Scrub can be used to clean silver.
