Why make the switch?
Why make the switch?
1.Chemicals in many of our household cleaners can make us sick. (It’s as simple as that!)
2.Our children (and pets!) take in more of these chemicals than we do, making them more susceptible to the damage, and us more responsible for it!
3.Top sources of pollution come from our cleaners – from the fumes they give off to the chemicals that pass through our drains. If you won’t make the switch for your family, do it for our planet!
1.Suds mean clean. Suds are normally effects of chemical surfactants that give off a false sense of cleanliness. Kitchen items like baking soda and vinegar are great cleansers and disinfectants, although they don’t sud at all.
2.We must kill all the bacteria when cleaning. There are good bacteria and bad bacteria. Killing all only means we have used chemicals that are probably more harmful to our bodies than the bacteria they killed.
3.It’s more polluted outdoors than indoors. Studies show that indoor air levels of pollutants are 2 to 5 times worse than outdoor air levels. Indoor air pollution is, in fact, always ranked as the top 5 environmental risks to public health.
